D C Books is a name woven into the warp and weft of Indian Publishing Industry. With almost 4000 titles in print, it is one of the top 5 Publishing Houses in India. It is also the largest bookshop chain in South India with 37 retail outlets and 55 agencies across the length and breadth of Kerala. D C Books has the added distinction of being the first ISO 9002 certified book-publishing house in India.

D C Books has been playing a seminal role in shaping the cultural and literary milieu of Kerala, since its genesis in 1974. Founded by the late D C Kizhakemuri the godfather of Malayalam Publishing, D C Books can be rightly called the flag bearer of the publishing renaissance in Malayalam.

D C Kizhakemuri Foundation

D C Kizhakemuri Foundation is a tribute to the memory of the D C Kizhakemuri who gave Indian Publishing a new meaning and direction. The Foundation aims to emulate what DC Kizhakemuri did–enrich the world of letters and foster Socioeconomic growth.

The Foundation has a Training Facility Centre offering courses in Printing and a Publication Division, at Kottayam and DCSMAT Media School at KINFRA Film And Video Park, Kazhakkoottam, Trivandrum.
