DCQC 2007

DC Quiz Club (DCQC) of DCSMAT, heading with a vision to promote the idea of innovation and the power of knowledge, conducted the second inter-collegiate quiz competition: DC Kizhakemuri Memorial All India Inter-Collegiate General Knowledge Quiz’07 on 8th January 2007 at Indraprastham auditorium, Kottayam. Prizes were worth Rs.50000, 25000, 10000 respectively for the first three places. The Quiz master for the event was Mr.Giri ‘Pick Brain’ Balasubramaniam, who heads Grey caps India Pvt Ltd; India’s third largest quiz company, headquartered in Bangalore.

The winners of the All India Inter Collegiate Quiz ’07 were:

1st Prize (Rs.50000) to Anna University, Chennai
2ndPrize (Rs.25000) to National Institute of Technology, Calicut
3rd Prize (Rs.10000) to Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur
4th Prize (Rs.5000) to Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara
5th Prize (Rs.5000) to Sri Venkiteswara Engineering College, Chennai
6th Prize (Rs.5000) to Zamorians Medical College, Calicut

We also have the laurel of offering the highest cash prize ever offered in the state of Kerala.
