Faculty Development Programme

DCSMAT conducted an in-house FDP programme on Case Teaching in Management Schools on 3 - 4th November 2006. The programme was attended by 30 selected participants from across the country. The programme started with the formal inauguration by Mr. Ravi Dee Cee (CEO, DC Books) and an introductory talk by Prof. Rama Bharatha Varma (Group Head, DCSMAT) on the importance of case method as a dominant pedagogy. Later the stage was handed over to Prof. A. Sreekumar (Fellow, IIM-A and Academic Advisor, DCSMAT) who was also one of the key resource persons for the FDP. The other resource persons include Prof. L.S. Murthy (Prof. Operations Area, IIM B), and Dr. Vinith Kumar Nair (Asst. Professor, DCSMAT). The programme was much appreciated and brought laurels to the DCSMAT family.
