Corporate Resource Centre
Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) brings together the corporate leaders and the school community. CRC gives the students the opportunity to learn from the cutting edge practitioners in the world of business. This facilitates a learning model of problem-focused research, case discussions and debate against the backdrop of different real business experiences and viewpoints.
D C School Press
D C School Press-the publishing wing of the School-has a journal on management, industry and business that will publish research papers and articles by experts and research scholars on the present industrial and managerial scenario in India and abroad. The press will also be publishing books by renowned authors and researchers related with the areas of industry, management and business.
Retail Experimentation Facility (REF)
This provides a simulated marketing environment in developing business leaders for the future. REF exemplifies our emphasis on new enterprise develop-ment and entrepreneurial initiatives by the students. Students will be exposed to the practical world of book keeping, procuring, sales forecasting and consu-mer behaviour.
Value Education
DCSMAT gives importance to forming business heroes with strong moral status, business ethics and personal values. Thus, value education and value clarification exercises are regular part of the campus life.
Yoga and Meditation
Yoga is a discipline, appreciated all over the world as a system for spiritual, mental and physical well-being. DCSMAT, being an institution developing new-age managers, gives ample importance to the training in this rich Indian tradition.
‘Burn-out’ of young executives resulting from stress and highly demanding work conditions of the modern corporate life pose a challenge before every manage-ment institution. Physical fitness, emo-tional stability, intellectual capability and spiritual growth unite in yoga.
The students of the college get the benefit of the Yoga sessions held in the mornings. This has become a part of the daily schedule of the students. An aesthetically designed yoga and meditation center is a unique feature of DCSMAT.
Mentor Group
Discussions at DCSMAT do not end in the classroom. The academic environment prevailing here provides innumerable number of opportunities to interact with the faculty. Mentor Group system is one such opportunity for the students in which they are divided into a number of small groups and a faculty is assigned to each group as a Mentor. Student-faculty interactions in the frequently held mentor meetings enhance their communication and group behavioural skills.
Co-curriculum
We are seeking to educate the business leaders of tomorrow who should possess expertise in the emerging areas of business management in order to be successful in a business environment in which traditional, structural and function-al boundaries are fast disappearing. The co-curriculum at DCSMAT is carefully calibrated to provide the breadth and depth of knowledge one needs to succeed in any business arena .The co-curricular disciplinary courses like CRM, SCM, Change Management, etc. give the students unique managerial perspective to succeed in today’s highly volatile and fiercely competitive global business community. Apart from these, communication lab, yoga and meditation make our co-curriculum a unique one.
Career Service Center
Individual career counseling from professional career consultants and advice from full-time staff members will help the students refine their self –discovery process and evolving plans for summer internships, placements and long term career goals. Community Development and Social Service
We believe that a successful business person should be a socially responsible corporate citizen too. The tradition of service is deliberately cultured in every DCian. They gain experience of working with the people of the locality and through this they seek to benefit both their immediate community and society at large. It provides the students with exposure and the first hand experience of team building and group dynamics.
Open Air Class Room
DCSMAT provides open-air classroom, which is a blend of modernity and tradition. This classroom offers a healthy and ideal environment for relaxed learning and at the same time helps to cultivate love of nature among the students.
Students Performance Appraisal
This feature exemplifies our concern in the welfare and progress of every student. Students are given continuous feedback on their performance. Counselling and skill-enhancing training are also offered. Appraisal reports are sent out to the parents to keep them abreast of their ward’s performance.
