MBA Programme - Admission
Requirements
All DCSMAT MBA aspirants should
qualify the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) examination held in
September 2007, December 2007, February 2008 and May 2008 to gain
admission to the programme. Candidates should have completed their
graduation with not less than 50% marks for those from Arts and
Commerce stream and 55% for Science and otherstreams including
BBA. The Bachelors Degree results are relaxed in the case of
reservation seat candidatesas per university norms. While
computing the percentage of marks, the results of all Parts and
Semesters are considered, including the languagemarks.
Selection Procedure
Admission to the 120 seats of DCSMATl is through merit, based on MAT score, GD and
Personal Interview. The GD and Personal Interview is organised
after the MAT results are out, at suitable venues like Kottayam,
Trivandrum, Calicut, Thrissur in Kerala, and other locations
outside Kerala.
DCSMAT – MBA application forms are
available at the branches of DC Books/ Current Books and at the
Admissions Office for Rs.750/- in cash or through a DD for Rs.
800/- by post, drawn in favour of ‘DC School of Management and
Technology’ payable at ‘Kottayam’.
You can also download the form from here and send the duly filled form to the Admissions Office along with
the DD (the prospectus will be sent to you separately).
MAT application forms can be
obtained from thebranches of DC books / Current Books and
the
Admissions Office, during the dates specified by All India
Management Association for applying for the same.
Open Houses
For students who are thinking of
joining the DCSMAT Business School, we arrange periodic
information sessions. Those who are interested in visiting the
campus should contact the Admissions Officer at the Kottayam
Office. Please note that these sessions are arranged whenever
there is sufficient number of interested candidates only.
